What is A Church Planter's Paradise?

A Church Planter’s Paradise is a recruiting Web site for church planters and turn around pastors. This tool was created to attract potential church planters with a passion for reaching the unchurched and seeing the kingdom of God expand.

The site is hosted by a group of evangelical organizations that have partnered together to accomplish the Great Commission through church planting. All participating organizations adhere to the theological standards of the National Association of Evangelicals. There is theological diversity within this framework.

 

How Does it Work?

Potential planters can complete an online application that indicates geographical interest and basic theological background.

The site reviews the quick application and asks the individual to go to a hidden site, to fill out an extensive biographical form. The extensive biographical form is reviewed by our staff who are all qualified church planter assessors.

Each applicant receives an email response acknowledging the bio. Each subscribing entity receives a copy of the extensive bio from each person who matches your criteria.

 

What Can I Expect?

Since its inception in March 1999, the site has averaged over 5800 hits per month and 25 to 40 applications submitted per week for the USA.

We have discovered many catalytic leaders are available to plant churches. They are looking for catalytic organizations to team up with.

 

New Planters are Loyal

Our organizations report the planters they have discovered from A Church Planter’s Paradise are often more loyal to their new denomination than those who have been in the denomination for a long time. When people choose to join you, they usually do so because they want to be with you.

 

Locating New Pastors is Easier

What Organizations are Welcome?

  1. Your organization must be Evangelical in theology and agree with the basic statement of faith of the National Association of Evangelicals.
  2. Your organization must value Great Commission ministry.
  3. Your organization must believe that Church Planting is about accomplishing the Great Commission rather than starting more churches for your denomination/organization.
  4. Your organization agrees to hold to our statement of confidentiality.
  5. Your organization agrees if you should receive resume information from one of your own pastors, you will in no way will penalize that person
